One of the skills I gained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama was corsetry. As part of the course, we created a 1878 corset tailored to our own measurements, using the pattern from Period Costume for Stage and Screen: Patterns for Women's Dress 1800-1909 by Jean Hunnisett.
